Fall In Lupas Town

[Ashley]

I went back downstairs and then outside, the cool, crisp autumn air felt surprisingly good. I decided to take a walk in the forest.

[Pine Bailey]

Pine leapt outside happily. "I'm just gonna look around, Mom!" she said, shutting the door. She noticed a girl walking towards the forest. What is she doing? she thought. "Um... hello.." she said hesitantly. She wanted to get to know more people.

[Ashley]

"Oh, hey." I said. "You must be new here, I don't think I've ever seen you before." Not a vampire certainly, not a werewolf, or at least probably not. Just a human, a regular human. Well I guess that was a nice change, in a way. "What's your name? Mine is Ashley."

[Sarah]

I hollered aas I was about to leave, "Hey dad, I'm just gonna stop around Winter Town, all right?" I jumped in the car. Normally I wasn't allowed to drive, but I knew there wasn't many cops around here. Luckily, I didn't run into another car and start a huge line of crashes and didn't see any police cars either, so today was a somewhat lucky day.

[Sarah]

I ran in through the front door and dropped the keys on the counter, running out into the forest. As I sat down near the edge of the forest I saw Ashley, and a new girl. This was going to get...interesting.

[Pine Bailey]

Pine smiled. "My name is Pine. Pine Bailey. Nice to meet you Ashley. Yeah i'm new here." she said. "Where you headed?" she asked. Pine saw some curiosity in Ashley's eyes.

[Ashley]

"Oh, just out to take a quick walk in the forest." Which was partially true. I had planned on stopping by to look at Aubrey's house (I didn't no why) and maybe find Gina.

[Sarah]

I looked curiously at Ashley as she talked to the new girl. I slowly walked towards Ashley as quietly as I could, standing at least 30 feet away.

[Pine Bailey]

Pine stared at Ashley with curiosity. "The forest? How come?" she asked, not trying to be nosy. "Aren't there wild animals in there? Like coyotes and wolves?" Cus' I had some in my old home. she thought to herself.

[Ashley]

"Oh, no wolves around here. There used to be, and sometimes I hear howling at night, but that's it. As for coyotes, I'm not sure. But nothing too dangerous lives around here." Unless you count us, I laughed mentally. I saw Sarah standing not too far from us. "Hey Sarah! This is Pine Bailey, she just moved here."

[Gina]

I looked out my side window with my blanket around me. I saw Gina talking to some girl I wasn't familiar with. Maybe she went to our school or maybe she was some sort of relative. I decided to go out and check. I threw off the blanket then put on a sweatshirt and a pair of tennis shoes. I walked out the front door and shouted, "Going outside, Dad!"

[Pine Bailey]

Pine smiled. "Hello. I just moved here," she said shyly. She looked at Ashley and said, "I can't really tell the difference between dogs and wolves either. Once I tried to pet one, and then I found out it was a wolf." she sighed. "Anyway," she began, "is that your friend?" Pine asked, looking at Sarah.

[Ashley]

"Yeah, that's my friend." I saw Gina. "That's also my friend," I laughed, pointing to Gina. "Hey Gina, where have you been? This is Pine." I added and motioned to Pine.

[Sarah]

"Hey Gina." I said, and walked closer to where Ashley was standing.

[Gina]

I started jogging over to them.
"Hey." I said. "I've been sort of sick but I think I'mm all better now."
"Hi, Pine, is it? I sort of overheard you guys." I kicked the dir on the ground. "Pine, will you be going to our school?"

[Ashley]

I had been wondering that a little bit, too. I was getting strangely impatient, and I didn't know why, but I didn't want to seem rude or anything, so I stayed put.

[Pine Bailey]

Pine nodded. "Yeah.. i'm not certain, but i'm almost sure I am. I'll talk to my parents more about that later." She smiled at Gina, "but i'm not much of a school person. I slack off on work, and I sort of daydream sometimes."

[Ashley]

I laughed softly. "Then you'll become practically unnoticed like me if you daydream and stick in the back of class. I'm pretty much invisible at school."

[Pine Bailey]

Pine shrugged. "You don't seem very 'invisible' to me!" she said, trying to cheer her up.

[Ashley]

"It's Ok, I'm used to it." I laughed. "It doesn't bother me at all anymore. It used to at first, but now it doesn't, and it's got some advantages." I smiled.

[Gina]

"Honestly, who does like school?" I giggled. "It's gonna be my first time coming to this school, too. I moved at the begining of the summer."

[Ashley]

"Well, bye Pine, Gina, and Sarah, unless one of you plan on coming with me to the forest." I said, begininng to walk away. I hoped Gina wouldn't come, if she did I just wouldn't be able to visit Aubrey's.

[Pine Bailey]

Pine looked at Ashley excitedly. "Can I come?" she asked, and added, "why are you going into the forest anyway?"

[Gina]

I'm just gonna head home." I said and sighed. "Later."

[Ashley]

"Going to visit an old friend," I said, wondering if it would be completely safe for Pine to be with me. "I just go through the forest because it's a shortcut."
