Summer In Lupas Town

[Gina]

Ah. The summer air felt so nice. There was a small breeze in the air but it was still very hot outside. I had a water bottle in my hand and got on my bike, riding up and down the driveway, wondering if Lupas Town had any swimming pools.

[Ashley]

"I'm heading out to the forest." I said, running to the back of the house near the barn part of it and took off my clothes. I phased and started running.

[Ashley]

I raced back home and took a quick shower with my clothes on. Then I looked through my closet and through the drawers and found one of my swimsuits from a long time ago. I would have to go shopping. I tried to avoid shopping, but today it was unavoidable. I changed into some dry clothes and ran to Gina's house, telling Deven to tell dad i was going swimming with Gina.
As soon as I got there, I waited near the back of Gina's house.

[Gina]

Quickly I changed into my bathing suit. I got a bag and put inside a towel, sunscreen, and my cellphone. Then I ran outside and saw Ashley in my backyard.
"Bad news." I said. "My dad said I can't take the truck but my brother can drive us."

[Ashley]

"Oh. Wait, oh man. Can we stop by my house 'cause I forgot to tell Deven something. Or I could just head back right now."

[Gina]

"Sure. I'll just wait here. John isn't even ready yet."

[Ashley]

"'Kay. Thanks." I started running back to my house. Deven was back on the couch again. "Hey Dev', where's my wallet?"
"On the kitchen counter."
"Thanks, and where's Evan?"
"I think he's up in that one guest room."
"OK." I ran upstairs to my room and grabbed a bag that had a note on it. It read, "Deven told me you were going swimming. I got you something. ~Dad"
The bag had at least 5 different swimsuits and I got one on, and headed back to Gina's house with my towel. Before I left I said, "Deven, I think you'd like Gina's brother, John. He's going to college in a couple of months."

[Gina]

"Hey, John's coming out now but hes not staying at the pool. Just dropping us off." I said.

[Ashley]

"Ok, and I'm guessing that would be a good thing." I said, smiling.

[Gina]

"Yeah." I laughed.
"C'mon guys." John said, starting the truck.
"Coming, GOSH." I said and hopped in the truck in the middle seat.

[Ashley]

I got into the car after Gina,looking out the window. "Summer boredom, affects 90% of people world wide: How you can help. You never see that in the news." I said randomly.

[Gina]

"I believe it." I laughed.

[Ashley]

"He he. So how are you, John?" I said, beginning to get bored.

[Gina]

"Good," He said. "Hows your dad? Heard about what happened."

[Ashley]

"Oh, fine. That guy in the forest, his name is Evan Gringo. He was an orphan apparently and lived with a couple of hikers."

[Gina]

"Is he okay?" John asked, making a turn. "Any broken bones or bad injuries?"

[Ashley]

"Don't think so. Not too bad."

[Gina]

I ran up to my room and lay on my mattress, tired from swimming.
"Gina, what were you saying about tonight in the car?" John asked, opening my bedroom door.
"Oh, I might go to the forest." I said.
"Oh." He said and left.
"So wierd." I muttered to myself and fell asleep.

[Ashley]

I went inside and was surprised to see Evan, Deven, and my dad all sitting on the couch eating tacos.
"Ordered Mexican." Deven said through a mouthful of taco.
"We saved one for you." Dad said.
"Tacos aren't my favorite, but OK."
I got my taco and sat down in a chair.
"You guys don't mind me heading to the forest tonight, do you?"
"Nope. Just don't stay out today." Dad said.
"Ok." I headed upstairs.

[Gina]

I woke up two hours later and ran down the stairs, yawning.
"Dad, I'm going to the forest if thats okay." I said, heading to the door.
"Please don't stay out too late. You're practically never home." My dad said.
"I promise." I said and ran out the door.

[Ashley]

I ran downstairs and everyone seemed like they were sleeping. I took my clothes off and phased, racing out into the forest.

[Ashley]

I phased and changed back into my clothes, then decided to head to Aubrey's house.

[Gina]

I walked into the house and slammed the door.
"I'm tired. I'm going to sleep." I said to my dad and ran upstairs. I lay down in my bed and sighed.

[Ashley]

"Tired." I mumbled. It was only sunset, but I was really tired. It seemed everyone except Deven and Evan were asleep.

[Gina]

I woke up and yawned. I felt better than when I had gone to sleep, much more full of energy and maybe today would eb the day I got that nasty vampire.
