My phone rang. I answered it. "Oh, hey Gina. That guy, his name is Evan Gringo. He's an orphan and was living with a group of hikers or something."

"I don't know really. You can't send a 30 year old man to an orphanage." I laughed. "Unless he has a buisness, we'll have to keep him. Plus he knows. ."

"Oh yeah..." I paused for a second. "Not trying to be rude or butt in, but if hes living with you I think he should get a job, you know, so soon he could live on his own."

"Not really." I said, looking at my boring room. "I was just bored and wanted to see if everyone was okay, like your dad and that other guy, Evan."

"Yep. Well, bye." I looked at Evan. "You have a job, don't you?"
"Not exactly. Well, probably not anymore." He said sadly.
"Do you know? "
"Know what? Were you the . . ." He seemed to shudder. "That giant wolf?"
"Yeah, but you CAN'T tell anyone."
"Alright."
"I'm serious."'
"OK."

I hung up the phone and ran downstairs.
John was screaming about the game he was watching and my dad had just came in with the groceries. I helped him un-pack all of the groceries from the truck and put them in the cabinets. I had nothing better to do.
"So did you see how Ashley's father is doing?" My father asked.
"Yes. I called her. Her dads fine and the other man is going to stay with them for a while." I said, stuffing water bottles into the fridge.
"Well thats nice of them." My dad said.
"Dad, I'm bored." I said.
"Well, that was random." He said, staring at me. "Why don't you start your chores?"
"Ughhhh fine." I said and went upstairs to do the laundry.

"Do you want anything to eat?" I asked Evan and he said yes.
"Well of course you do. I'm so stupid."
I went downstairs and for some reason Deven was already awake. In fact, he was making breakfast.
"Hmm something's different. You're awake Deven."
"Yep." He said.
I pulled a box of frozen waffles from the freezer and stuck some of them in the microwave.e
